Ok so my subs run out....

No drama I'll resubscribe...

Then this...

Can someone please explain to me why this happens? I mean I have rightnowed this question as well but I am hoping a GM can answer the question for me. It's just plain irritating - 7 hours I have been waiting to try and subscribe to a game I want to play and I get the same blooming message...

GOA doesnt do the CC transactions themself
they just forward it to a specialized company that then checks with your bank if the card is valid/not bloked/ has enough credit/ and then responds to GOA.
basicly you are waiting for GOA to get the OK from the CC company

It's probably because you either entered CC info or something wrong and the sub failed, or you had autorenew on and the sub failed for some reason (for example, you have to enter additional info on the bank's site or something).

Plus of course that GOA's/Bibit's (?) billing system is poorly implemented.

I get that every month on my 2nd account. For some reason the Auto renewal fails on that account every time and I have to wait until it resets at midnight before I can resubcribe.

After 6 months of reorting this to Rightnow they finally said they'd look into it, that was 2 weeks ago and no answer yet....

Had the same problem ones. Tried to renew a account that wasn't used for months and saw the same message. I emailed Right Now (sunday) and on monday i could subcribe.. dunno if right now helped or not but it worked on monday

Check your subscription email. I once had that message after I used the wrong cc company and got a cancelation email with a link to cancel the (failed?) transaction. Then it worked again 2 hours later.

IF you get a new CC, ALWAYS.. ALWAYS CANCEL THE SUB BEFORE THE NEXT PAYMENT IS DUE !!!!! .. if they try to charge ya old CC its gonna get messy !!!

No it doesnt, you just get an email your cc bounced, and when you login to the subs you need to enter a new cc number thats all

Same here. however this time im able to continue playing even tho i have recieved 2 e-mails saying my account has been closed :D

Had that same screen when i renewed a few days back. It was sorted within 24 hours, I did Rightnow it too, not sure if that did anything.

I think half of the problem is that they email you telling you that your renewal has failed on the last day of your subscription. So you try to renew thinking your account is closed when it isn't.

At this point you can't renew because your account is still active and the autorenewal information isn't accepted by the bank so you need to wait until the following day when your account actually closes to change the subscription info.

Very frustrating tbh.
