The Kobold quest mobs?

I've heard of some new-ish quest where you have to kill some new kobold mobs in the mid frontiers somewhere... but I still haven't seen these lil' bastards. Does anyone have a loc for them? And in what zone can I find them?

Bleh, can't run around all of Odin's to find them
Heard a friend got PA'd by a stealthed kobold mob. sounded like fun to me.

And to add a bit to this, their behaviour is somewhat different to your ordinary group of mobs.

First time I bumped into them (in a group) we were seriously debating whether they were GM controlled and/or part of an event or just ordinary NPC's since they were attacking in a rather 'undefinable' intelligent way

If they are the ones where the full camp chases you that were added a couple of patches ago they are about 48,36 in odins.
