The joys of essay writing?

So i'm trying to get my first university level essay off to a good start, and i need a definition. The textbooks i've got hold of don't seem to have a good definition so i'm looking for something on the web now.

Can anyone recommend any websites where i could find a decent definition?

If it's of any relevance i need ot find a definition for the 'Multidimensional Anxiety Theory'

dont know web sites, but the oxford dictionaries do most of the subjects and they're pretty damn good, got my sociology one

I always struggle when it comes to writing short essays of say 2000+ words cos I always run out of words pretty quickly and have to condense so much :9 hate that crap

Same, hopeing for degree in History and I hate short essays, long ones are the best.

i love writing essays! and yay too @ my 5000 history one when i start it.

Vlad, do you have access to Athens from your uni/college website? its a thing used by the library (on site library) and its full of sites for stuff like this, it also has all the oxford dictionary volumes on it, if your not sure tbh go to your LRC and ask them about it because its a life saver. you can get so many resources from it its just sexual!

More than a few pages of text about something is a waste of words ;D I mean, if someone wants you to write 40 pages about something, they need their head examined. If it isn´t a novel youre writing that is.
