Ah!! how refreshing is to try and buy ur precious DAOc character a pretty house.

FFS been yesterday 3!!! hours trying to find a lot to place my cottage.

LoL, great system mythic. You can roam around these huge housing zone, with those friendly border walls w/o being lucky.
Its prolly the most stupid things in a game ive ever seen. At the end u start wondering if the 1000 houses limit has been reachen. Yet, the merchants still selling you cottages, house deeds, etc...

Time to improve this crappy expansion tbh

PS: gone to bed pissed as hell

You cant blame Mythic, they have provided a search engine on the Herald (or the herald has provided one, anyway).

It's GOA that once again havent provided, so once again we suffer from a poorer service than our American bretheren....unless anyone know of a Euro version?

Remember all merchant markets are location 35000 35000, you face /faceloc 35000 35000 and always end up at stables and market...

you can purchase coins off the merchants at these markets next to where you search for items, and you place these coins on ANY consignment merchant and youll teleport to that market... I would suggest taking horse to alis - caerwent and taking horse to them all, this will save you alot of time... put the coins in your vault or something....

CAERWENT - ALIS (always travel to this stable to connect to below stables)
RILAN - HWITHLOEW
DALTON - ALAMADAR
OLD SARUM - MAELA
BRISWORTHY - ALGAUR

also have the /houseface 32 option.... and use the tickets off Piper and youll zoom round

Aloca - UI with nice housing maps and housing numbers

Housing Maps Overall

I think if you ran around sober, you might actually like the zones

We are happy to introduce a new housing zone for each realm with this version. Albion players can now start building in Aylesbury, while Midgard players can now stake their claims in Kaupang, and Hibernians can now settle in Aberillan.

I dont think this is up to date or even accurate (shows 5 free lots in Ailleach which i know for a fact is fully occupied).

This was a voluntary submission database, its out of date and incomplete.

Still, its better than nothing :)

Unfortunately Goa doesn't seem to care about giving us a proper "herald" like Mythic do.

What you could do is use the housing directory over at camelotherald to see what zones theres usually a lot of vacant lots on.

Exampel: This is the zone Frisia on one of the most populated servers over there (Morgan LF) http://guilds.camelotherald.com/hdirectory/locate-house.php?mode=all

Chanses are good you'll find vacant spots on this server here also.

In 1.69 there will be another new housing zone (Kaupang). Atleast here there will be vacant lots :)

Ended up doing it the hard way.

Printed the 5 maps of housing zones of albion n roamed em all looking for a free lot. Only found 3 free lots. All of em with costs higher than 20p. So i written down the locs n gonna check em from time to time (think the price lowers as a rate of 1p200g /hour)

Are you sure about those coordinates? In the area where my house is, in those coornidates is no marketplace - well relatively close yes, but hardly in visibility range (clip range = FAR).
