saw these guys yesterday and they were alot better live than i thought they would be the support were shit though. so if you get the chance to see them see them
Saw them at Leeds and thought exactly the same - surprisingly good. I did think they were getting pretty repetitive by the end, but Pelle (lead singer)kept it interesting. He sounds like an American fundamentalist preacher (REALLY) and he comes out with mad stuff between every song, like: "OK! Now it is time for the Hives to ascend into the heavens like the Gods we are!" Great stuff.
Sahara Hotnights opening or was that just the states? Pelle is dating a girl in Sahara Hotnights anyway so go figure why they are opening for em. And they ought to be great live, considering they get hailed to high heavens by all sorts of magazines as the best live act to come around in many years. Not that I can have a say in it since I strangely enough have'nt seen em live although they are from my neck of the woods. (about 8 miles to there hometown from here)
