OK, So I have upgraded my PC, but alas I forgot aboput the PSU, my 5 year old 400W monster is not really up the the challenge.

I need a 500W decent brand that has solid rails for £50-60 anyone got any ideas?

Ok ...

You ideally want a Modular design (Add the power cables you need as you need them), with gold plates on the connects to stop oxidisation. Remember buy not for what you need now, but consider your future needs.

I recently had a 500W Antec NeoHE (85% efficient) which was good.

£63.99 Antec Neo HE ATX 500W PSU (NEO HE500GB)

But upgraded to a Corsair HX620W (Made by Seasonic under design from Corsair), lookup the reviews, because of my new BFG 8800 GTX.

HX620W (80% efficient) = £99 Overclockers.co.uk or £97 Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
HX520W (80% efficient) = £70.49 Overclockers.co.uk

With all the gfx cards dual core/quad cores, think bigger that you need.

Antec NeoHE serie and Seasonic S-12 serie probably fits in that price range and both would serve you well.

Keep your current PSU and fit a couple of these on it
