I saw it and the Other Eye in the mirror this morning. Quite nice they were too.

Friend of mine grabbed a copy of The Eye and watched it last night. He loved it and I trust his opinion.

Also saw people talking about it on www.thedvdforums.com , it got a good write up there too.

Order it :)

I can give you a review now if you like...

It was presented to me in a stryofoam box. I opened the box and found a semi circle shaped pie that filled the elngth of the box. I shifted this into the lid section of the box and was delighted to discover it had been laying on a bed of chips.

Not only were these chips freshly cooked, they had also been salted.

The pie had been slightly burn at one end but the filling managed to cover up the taste until I got to the good stuff. It was a Steak and Mushroom pie btw.

I managed to eat all of the pie but had to admit defeat soon after and left a number of chips.

Overall I'd say I was very happy with the meal and would reccomend it to my friends.

I ordered it from Play.com. It's more money but it's PAL encoded and has extras.

It arrived on the doormat yesterday and me and Dams watched it last night. It is a freaky fucking film.

The ending is a bit weak (looks cool though) but there are some truely skin crawling moments in it.

I've not been that shook up since I watched Blair Witch Project. Before ya chip in saying "Blair Witch was shite". No it wasn't it was original and made me feel like I was a kid again having a sleep over and shitting each other up by telling ghost stories. And The Ring (original) owns but was more jumpy than freaky.

The Eye: 8/10

off topic but i never understoon why people though the jap version of Ring was scary at all. it was one of the most crap films ive ever seen and thought the american one was much scarier.

there was never a single jumpy bit in it (jap version) all, just when something is gonna happen the screen just goes crappy and you see the actor making a comcial face. in the end i took it back to the shop and said the disc didnt work.

My order from CDWOW arrived and like Kenny and Dams I settled down to watch The Eye last night with the gf.

Mine's Region 3 (wanted DTS) and pumped it through the surround sound thinking it would put the shakes into the missus. Lol it did but shit me up too. Creepy film, the sound really made it IMO, sounded like the nasties were in my fecking room at one point.

I'd agree with Kenny bout 8/10. Watched Ringu and Ichi The Killer straight after - top night, nice hangover ;)

btw n3wbie, it wasn't a *jumpy* film (Ringu) it was tense, atmospheric, and somewhat like the blair witch, played on a fear of the unknown. Plus, at the end when the girl did the thing through the thing (no spoilerz admin thx!!) ... *NGHGHGHQAAAHF*
