I ended up cancelling my pre-order in favour of putting the money towards a new graphics card for the PC. It annoys me that EoJ is £60 here and only £30 in America for the same box set. I think I'll wait a month or two and see if the price drops down.

I've been looking forward to this game since I first saw the movies of it in action. I'm just too much of a stingy bastard at heart ;)

I read a story today about how people are downloading the cards printing and using them within the game for free :p

News - Eye of Judgement cards copied // PS3 /// Eurogamer
Unfortunately, this will be the downfall of this type of game. If the companies can't make their money selling booster packs, it will die pretty quickly. Shame really. I suppose the only way to stop this is to make sure people complain when they see a worn bit of paper being laid down, as opposed to a nice, shiny card ;)

Haven't played the game meself, but apparently people on the other end don't see the cards being placed on the mat, just the shiny graphics that occur afterwards

Looking at that article, it mentions that it used a picture from Penny Arcade. Now, the scan Penny put up was from a pre-release copy of the game. So I wonder if anyone has had any success in copying the cards in the retail version.
