I went from optimistic and patient to turning into a paranoid psychopath after dealing with GOA. I have know sent them the information they have asked for FOUR times and they sent me back another request for the info.

My first e-mail was something like this..
(and I'm paraphrasing here)

Dear GOA,
I know you guys are so busy in the office and despite rumors of how bad the customer serves is I still have faith in you. I have a small problem that I need to be sorted out when you guys get an opportunity to.
I just need my e-mail changed on my personal info as I no longer have access to the old one. I have changed my password and it got sent to my old one so I am not able to play the game. Here is the info.. if you need anything just let me know.

Ok so I was still being optimistic, and despite the fact I really wanted to e-mail them back with something like.. " Err dipwad, I gave you the info already just read it"
I reframed! So I wrote another e-mail...

Dear GOA,
The information you requested was in the first e-mail. I'm assuming you must have over looked it somehow.

The next day..

Dear super fabulous daoc freak,
GOA would love to help you with your situation, all it will take on your part is a little time to give us some MUCH needed info..
like.. name, cd key blah blah blah ....

Ok..

Now I started to get a little frustrated. As the days went by and I have since sent them the information FOUR times my last e-mail went something like this..

Look you sick twisted freak! I know there is some conspiracy to keep me off the game and I am bound and determined to find out who YOU are! TELL ME your leaders name!
If you would open up those squinty little eyes you have or get a new prescription for your glasses I am positive the information will jump off the page and slap you! FREAKING READ you idiot! If I get another e-mail asking me for the same info I have been giving you since day one I will personally fly over to France and read it to you to your FACE!
just DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Now at this point I have yet to hear from them, I don't see why they would hesitate soo long!
But I now have experienced the evil force we call GOA. NO ONE has played this game fully until they have to deal with the costumer serves!

Now.. After some coffee and talking to some friends I am once again being hopeful, and optimistic. If I do however, receive another e-mail from them requesting my info.. I may do something drastic!

When some1 got hold of a GM account last year they changed the passwords.
Now i hadn'et updated my email and hence didn't get a password.

So i got onto GoA , and got the same runaround you have.

however it lasted 9 weeks before i got my account info back

just persist ... now i'm like the tide .. make take me a few hundred years but i will erode away your coastline =)

I had exactly the same problem, old email down as i switched isp.
The problem is u cant change email in sub page as u have to confirm it in a mail sendt to you, kinda stupid..its like an email trap ;p

This is the replay i got and after i gave them that info they changed my email ;

Dear customer,

In order to follow up your request, we need you to provide the information below though you gave them before:

* First name and last name.
* The CD key’s number of the concerned account.
* The registered postal address.
* The method of payment
* The email address registered in your profile.
* The new email address you want to register in your profile.

How long have you been playing Seeira? Has it really taken you this long to realise that GOA are lazy, unproffesional, layabout, useless and damn right pathetic! I have had nothing but trouble with GOA from day one....

I had a previous account banned, and when i enquired why, they said because of excessive foul language in public channels. So, i asked for the log, and they said no, we dont do that, it is against our religion(or something), so i persisted, saying u cant ban me on the speculative notion that i said naughty words...anyway, eventuall they DID send me the log, and get this, my excessive abusiveness contain ONE yes ONE swear word...and the guy deserved every letter of it. Suffice to say i contested this, and they wrote back saying basically this...

well... if indeed she didn't send all the details, then she wouldn't have got the "oops, please forgive us for being blind/slow/dumb" email she got a couple of days later, whereby her email was changed and password could be updated...

Ok, I did give them all the information that they asked for about 5 times, maybe 6 I have forgotten now. I just was in a hurry when I wrote the above post and I was being sarcastic, in case that didnt come out when you read it
The one thing I am thankful for is its over!
I got the information on a sunday, of all days. So it took them just under a week to get my info changed.

They did send me an e-mail that said this.. " Response (CS)08/13/2004 03:18 PM
Dear April xxx,

Sorry for the mistamke made previously."

That was after I sent them an e-mail saying look I gave this info to you SO MANY TIMES PLEASE READ !!!!

lol .. so at least its fixed now.
