Did anyone see the Daily Mail article on computer games last Thursday. They accussed the makers of Carmageddon, Max Payne and Grand Theft Auto.

The writer of the article was whinging on about her 16 year son playing. There was no mention of these games having a 18 certifacate (15 in the case MP) nor the parental lock facilities.

lol

I remember the program they showed once about how computer games are used to train army soldiers in american and how it has bad ethical values and such. At the end though there was the added bit

'And if you would like to discuss any of the material found on the show tonight, join the online chat at www.channel4.com/chat. The directer of the series will be online in the next few minutes'

The funny thing was that she was pitted against 300 odd angry gamers who gave her questions she didn't have answers too. Most amusing at the time.

I always remember in the original GTA the accumulative points you get for mowing down the Hari Krishna line, you use to start salivating whenever those "ting ting ting" noises could be heard !

Having grown up in London and seen the real thing down Oxford Street, it gives a nice feeling of release ...

GTA3 is best when you headshot loads of people from the top of the casino with your sniper until the helicopters turn up, down a few of them with your rocket launcher, throw a few grenades and molatovs at the army and fbi, then run downstairs in a kamikaze attempt to finish the rest off with a a flamethrower. Ahh, sweet memories of a classic game...

I must get back to work....
