The change of albion (part2)

Well the first post i made ended in a flame war as per normal so here we go for round 2.

At the end of the day this is a game that people play to have fun and relax.

Now it doesn't matter if you like the thrill of rvr or would rather spend time helping others level gain items etc.

Everyones goal is still the same and thats to enjoy playing a game.

Now you can all flame,moan and swear to your hearts content but it wont change anything people will play the game the way they gain most enjoyment doesnt matter if we like it or not.

Now i believe albion can pull together again might not happen quickly but it will happen and it might not even be the people posting here that make the real difference, people are still just starting out playing and it might just be that fresh blood that makes the difference in the end.

If you disagree with me thats fine i'm sure alot of you will but everyones got there own view and im just giving my opinion.

Please give people the chance to play the way they want to without flaming them.

People are begining to talk like its the end of the road for albion but theres still plenty of people out there willing to carry on the fight and believe me its not over yet.

Indeed. The questions is, what would you change and why?


The way I see it, not much needs to be changed at all. The pieces are in place and all it will take, is for someone to move them.

Since the servers went live, players have waited on the higher-ranking guilds to plan and execute large scale warfare, i.e. Relics raids.

The only problem now, is the expectation people have from the high-ranking guilds. Now if these guilds do not have the time or desire to organise raids, it's not their fault. Albion demands it's relics to be returned, most of it's people looking to another guild to give a call and when that call doesn't come, there will be tension whithin the realm.


- You cannot pressure another guild into organising a raid
- You cannot sit around without relics
So what do you do?

Simple. All of the players/guilds who want to go on a relic raid, get together and do it!


This is a United Albion. Everyone gets what they want and have a good time doing it.

Those who want to gain RP's, do so
Those who want to defend their frontier, do so
Those who want to take/defend relics, do so

There will be no expectations from another guild and neither will there be any dissapointments.

yes that's all true but all realms have guilds and if the guild members are so busy clocking up rp's and realm ranks for themselves, and don't give a toss about the guild/alliance/relic's why is Blaien moaning cos he doesn't join in with realm/relic defence

Blaien wants rp's, high realm rank along with all the realm abilities going and nothing else. His buzz is realm rank so what's he whining for ? go for it Blaien but don't show yourself up by coming on here and moaning about change.

I'm sick of his whining about the change. He is a big part of Albion's problem and we do have a few others like him

A lot of Albion's guilds and alliances really care about our realm so we don't need you Blaien. We have lots of people who will do their best to defend our realm. So you go your way and we will defend our realm and eventually get the relics, We don't need you or your type Blaien

so stop whining will you.

What I said was, let eveyone play the game the way they like. From those groups, you find ones who share similar interests to yours and involve them in your plans. This way, everyone stays happy.


If you expect everyone to join you, there will be dissapointments. The other problem is, people lack the confidence to plan and lead raids themselves. So they sit and wait for others to do so.

If you read again, you will see it was not an anti-LoE post which you presumed with your tainted eye.

He can do whatever he likes because frankly he's never missed because he's never there. BUT he does like to enjoy the advantages of belonging to a guild but I have only ever seen him once help that guild and he didn't stay long. He does belong to a very good guild who go and retake our keeps. We can always count on TBC to be there for keep taking but strangely Blaein never shows up..even though he's on line.

Nothing morally highground about that statement. It's just a fact.

But his constant whining about Albion changing is too much.

Pleazzzz spare us the whining if you can't be bothered to play the game as a team player. You need to belong as a team player to keep up with the changing of the game as it evolves. If you don't group and join in you won't know what's happening in Albion will you Blaien

I remember first playing this game and hearing about going to war with enemy realms sounded excellent. Although thing haven't turned out quite the same as I expected ( with 2 high level characters) I still enjoy the game a hell of a lot and respect peoples wishes to play the game the way they want to.

Yes if our realm is invaded and keeps are being lost its great to charge into Pennines etc with a blood lust and play the game that way, but if people want to engage the enemy on their own home turf let em!

I will admit though things haven't been the way they used to too, I remember times when Albion had their Relics and many people where up for the challenge of covering the cost/time of defending them. Things aren't quite the same now but on a dailt basis I see Albs in our own and enemy frontiers pulling together to make things happen.

So keep it up, as long as people still get a kick from this game we should all be happy, after all who wants to see an empty server
