It wasn't that good.

Although I have just enjoyed watching it. If anything it reminded me of Frequency.

It does raise the question though; as all experiences and memory are formed by perception, if one can change those experiences, then the limits are endless.

I liked the hospital bit very muchly, best scene in the film.

where him and his mate (the fat kid mate) burn all his old diaries/photoalbums etc after him going back and keeping well out of things, the final shot is of him walking down a crowded street wearing a suit (guess hes got a ob) and walks past the bird, he recognises her and she does him. but ALAS they dont quite make eye contact.

He goes back into the womb and strangles himself with the umbillical cord. The distributers and publishers obviously felt this was very iffy ground and not worth going to.

I don't know for sure though, as I haven't seen it. Could be lies I've heard.

well the copy i rented had that ending in...so i guess it wasn't too dodgy

Too dodgy for cinematic release as the real ending though, I think.

A lot of people would have kicked up a fuss, especially in America.

Oh God! Dead thread ahoy!

Just seen this, and liked it very much. The amount of times I've thought to myself "I wish I did that differently" isn't that much tbh, but of the ones I could change, they'd be pretty significant. S'pose I can relate to this film on some level.

I've been reading some of the messages on the imdb boards, and subjects of regular occurence are "Melodrama" and "Stereotypes".

I'll leave it at that as I think those subjects are shit.

Didn't realise there was another ending apart from the one on the DVD. The theatrical release ending sounds utter poop.
