i see the only sound damage noise that still works is female avalonian and icconus
oh and bears, with thier paladin shield chant noise when they hit
oh and the ants near snow station that make highlander owch noises when hit..
i sympathise with u tbh, dont like getting chewed on from behind and taking 3-4 hits b4 i realsise somethings there cos i cant hear my char screaming .
surely 1 little fix patch cant take that long

I took the sounds out 2 months after starting the game and never put them back on. I cant say those bugs really affect me

The chat log is just irritating... If your having a bad streak where you do a lot of zoning, you can end up with the chat that you started the evening with... (I've had that 2-3 times )

Thats just silly

And tbh, either I'm wrong, or I dont really miss the sounds... Could be that I havent heard them for so long, that I have no clue what I'm missing
(usually listen for style sounds, which seem to work fine for me)

Indeed annyoing with the chat bug when you get 2 hour old text in your face and you start discussing that topic again.

Another thing I realy hate is the Group bug after porting, it is realy fun when you have to relog to fix it and group leader are still out fighting and cant reinvite. Mostly affects stealth groups I think since we use to die at different times and have no healers to rez us.

As a thought, would a bit of creative tweaking of the client sound filenames fix the sound probs if it's really annoying you that much then 'login.dll'ing it?

Dunno. Never looked. Maybe someone has the time/patience/inclination to look.
