Good Film if you liked the original you will probably love this. A few twists in the story, good idea, and a very good car chase. Probably the best film to watch at the Cinemas at the moment if you not seen Spidey 2.

Looking forward to this. The first one was excellent, and Franke Potente is well fit, in that German-rock-chick-may-not-shave-her-armpits-but-is-fit-anyway kind of way :)

Going to have to wait till Cheapy Tuesday to catch this one. But I'm really looking forward to it. Enjoyed the first film immensely and realised the other day that the first film was a remake of an older one and that there are books that the films were either based on or vice versa.

The films I believe are 'loosely ' based on the novels by Robert Ludlum,(they at least share a title, I have not seen either of the films) there are three in the series, The Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum. I read the books many years ago, the sequels were a bit shit compared to the original and appeared, to me, to be the author cashing in a bit.

Went to see it last night. Fantastic. Starts a little slow, but once it gets going the fast paced action of the first film is there again for all to see.

Some great fights (Look out for the improvisational weapons that had me in stiches
Rolled up magazine :)
) and a trurly supurb car chase that looked like it was filmed in the middle of a destruction derby :)

Thorughly recommended.

Then you'll love this one too, I imagine.

I thought the first one was comically dire, and this one was pretty dull. It didn't make me laugh at how rediculously absurd it was, which was a bonus.

Standard thriller imo :p

Is every film that comes out being rated as (12a) now? Did BBFC forget about (15) and (18)?

People are getting shot in the head, stabbed and strangled to death.. and it's still classed as (12a)... ? I, Robot has a naked man in the shower and that's classed as (12a)!... anyway, I don't like this new style of doing car chases either, where the cameraman has the shakes and the camera is out of focus and moving all over the place, leaving you disoriented and bored before anything explodes.

So? It's presumably (I haven't seen the film myself) not in any kind of sexual context, so I really don't see that there's a problem - let's be fair, seeing Will Smith having a shower isn't exactly going to mess up a 10-year-old for life, is it?

In my days, nudity was still nudity and not "art" or "natural" or "unprovocative"... it's a naked bloke in the shower and if I'm taking kids to watch a (12a) movie, I'm not expecting to see naked people.

If the kids you're taking are shocked by the sight of ANY nudity, then your kids are going to grow up with problems. We're not born with clothes you know, we're conditioned by society to expect them. I have friends who walk around butt naked in front of their 4 year old son, and he hasn't raped anybody yet.

Anyway, the film was really good, probably not quite so good as the first one, but the chase sequences utterly rocked. I wonder if there will be a 3rd film?

Yeah, nudity is evil. It must be stopped.

Violence, guns, explosions death - heck that's all ok, perfectly natural. Nudity can lead to nothing but total and utter annihilation.

Have you actually seen "I, Robot", Escape? Your harping on about the nudity, its nothing more than a side on shot of him in the shower. You see more nudity in the Foam burst shower gel advert.

The shaky camera really started to piss me off. Otherwise a decent film and especially good since I've not seen the first :)

Quite enjoyed this! The car chase towards the end was amazing! And this is coming from a guy who doesn't get a boner when a car chase scene pops up in a movie (I'm a freak, I know  ).

Compared to the first movie this was really boring, sad I had great hopes for it. Matt Damon is usually very good in movies aswell.

Just got home from seeing it this evening. Matt Damon is excellent, as usual. The plot was predictable but far from "boring". Excellent thriller and well worth seeing.
