Am I the only one having problem finding grps at these lvls? Why did they nerf Spraggon Den?

I'm looking for ppl between 20-25, that wants to meet up and grp...

We can't stay 20-25 forever...

Really, i never had any problems trying to get grps with my alts. What i know is that nobody ever uses the flaged for grp thingy,so u can try typing /who [level] or [class] that way u get a list of ppl who are online than u can just pm them much faster way of getting yourself a grp. And if u find a good grp /friend adds them to your friends list lets u know when they are online. btw what about guildies? should be able to grp together with them isnt that what guild are for? helping each other out and growing together?

I soloed alot too, and at about lvl 23 You could do Walking rocks then venture a bit in Koalinth Tribal Caverns.
Also Darkness Falls is good for level 25+ but the problem is its hardly ever open.
Then you should probably do Alp Luchabre's they conned red/orange at lvl 27/28 but they have a nasty disease which makes the downtime very long if your solo, an alternative is the fog wraiths in Cliffs of Moher.
I really dont know much about were to kill at level 30 though but I find Treibh Caillte a nice place to solo, and it got some drops aswell.

Relying on guilds for xp is wrong I think, if you join guild why should they help you level if they weren't helped beforehand? Yes they should help you in as many ways are deemed acceptable but they shouldn't be held responsible for anyones lack of xp groups or levels.

I levelled a lot outside of my guild and that's not any critisism toward them as I was honoured to be part of them but also was glad that I had earned enough respect amongst other people that I was often asked to come to groups or often accepted to leech from full groups till there was a space for me to join.

I've seen many people join and quit guilds because maybe they didn't help powerlevel them enough as they'd like and to be honest it's good to see them leave as Hibernia doesn't need or want people like that.

We are a community and we should stay like that, we grow in numbers by day and it will be hard to keep the closeness that held us together in the early days on Prydwen but still a few people that think that they deserve xp over others because they think they are 'uber' is crap... How many manachanters does one realm need after all? They see the success of one or two and think they can emulate this easily?
They forget that Usp and Zedorf are actually great players and not just abusing some overpowered class....

Yes, guilds should aid lower players, but more by advice than direct powerlevelling, more by helping with explaining how to solve quests than by giving items and gold to them. For me, completing the quests to gain items to help me.. killing mobs to earn me the money for new armour/staffs was part of the game, not something that I deserved simply for being 'Uberment'(c)2002 "Which obviously I am :p".

This is only my opinion and I respect those who differ, but I am right and anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong and should just give up now as they are not 'Uberment'(c)2002 and I am. Even if I am about to quit...

Not sure if u are refering to my earlier post, but if you are , i didnt say anything about the guild being responsible for anyones lack of xp groups or levels nor are guild obligated to help u power lvl. All i said was that finding grps within your guild of the same lvls and playing together u all will grow as a grp. ( i used the word "should" and not "must" in my sentence) Guildies tend to know each other better and 2-3 lvls diff wont be consider pwr lvling now would it.

"if you join guild why should they help you level if they werent helped beforehand" If you look at it that way than nobody would ever help anybody, somebody has to start first right? I have had ppl help me with quest or take me to look for certain mobs even thou they are not in my guild nor did i know them they are just very nice ppl and i /salute all of them whom has helped others in one way or another. btw all i did was ask them for directions and they offered to help.

Regarding the part where many ppl join guild and leave when they dont get pwr lvled i agree with u on that...that just plain sux.As much as we can we aid each other and if some kind soul whats to pwr lvl u than thank God for him :p and if nobody want to, hell just enjoy the process of lvling and making friends in the process : )

Maybe was the way i end my last replay that cause u to write the whole issue on guild pwr lvling and stuff. Hope its just some misunderstanding :p Hate to make enemys and everybody has different view on things, and many a times that tends to clash but thats what makes the game interesting. : ) /cheers

nah it was just something I wanted to say for a while and it seemed an ok place to put it, wasn't directed at any people in particular and not intended to accuse anyone in this thread.

I understand the frustrations of often not finding groups, I had lots of it and most people don't believe my /played time when they ask me they just kinda laugh and think I'm joking.

But I do think Hib has way less groups in exp then Albion.
At Albion you get grouped at lvl 5 doing Boulderlings (?) then in Salisbury plains - Keltoi - Catacombs - Lyonesse; all those places you can group very easy since loads of people are there at your lvl.

In Hibernia I have seen none or not much groups of exp, Parth farm was actually the only place I grouped for more than 1 level.
It could be I am looking in the wrong places but I never find any groups, I go into caves/mines only thing I find are those high lvl guards that kill everything that comes near or I find loads of graves, but no person is ever in a dungeon (Except Muire and DF).
I looked for groups in Cliffs of Moher but noone seem to be there, searched in brei leith (or something like that) but no group is there.
I heard you get groups in Cursed Forest but when I enter and ask for groups they only need level 40+ people, which I can understand since the mobs kill you in 1 shot if your not level 40.

Grouping is the way to exp, I still remember the times in Albion when I made 5! levels in 1 day when I was like level 38 or something by grouping, today its hard for me to make 2 levels a day in mid 30.

I do agree with Cornell though, guilds shouldnt be accused of not Powerleveling people, A guild for me is just a nice group of people to who you can ask questions about quests and/or where stuff is etc and of course to have fun with in RvR and PvE (in PvE to do Epic mob raids etc).

Conclusion: I do think I am doing something wrong since I hardly find any groups below level 40, but I hope that shouldnt be a problem soon when I hit level 40.

For the 30's you should be able to find groups in Coruscating Mines - it's a good place for XP and loot as well :)

Yes, until you hit about level 40, grouping outside of a guild or group of friends does seem to be hard on Hib/Pryd.

Yet there is still a lack of people using the Find Group feature in the Group menu.

Also, /send to other players your level. If you are a Druid, Bard or Warden, /send a tank, if a tank, /send a Druid, Bard or Warden. If a caster or rogue, /send everyone :)

People need to actively look for groups. Get a good group at level 20, and XP somewhere like Connlas Well (level 23-25 mobs, and no-one seems to bother with it) and you will get a few levels in a few hours in a good group. Level 25-28, head to Lough Gur, and do Giant Ants or Luchs, or Pookhas at Basar. 28-34 head to Treibh Cailte or 28-30 at the Irewoods at Collory.

For Rangers, a group of 2 at level 20 can take down Irewood Saplings at Collory (on the hill on the left as you come into view of Dagda from Cain) or at the Enchantress camp. At 24-26, group of 2 can easily cope with Young Irewoods, a lvl 28 can solo them. 2 Level 32's can do Irewoods at Collory. You can buy arrows at Scathaig if you run out of them, and all trees are Slash weak, so use Flight or Footed Flight Broadheads.

If anyone needs a semi-afk Bard (21) and/or a non-stealthing 'Shade (22) give me a shout, I'm gonna be XP'ing with a few HDS this week, and might be looking for a few more group members.

If you cant find a group try to make one, doing it a lot when i log with my hero alt. (played with you too :). Imo the worst is lvl 24-30 if you cant find decent ppl to play with day by day, but after 30 cs mines is good xp till lvl 38-40, from 40 its Cursed forest or Bog. (mainly cf nowdays)

OK, xp for the low 20s is currently screwed by the event mobs occupying Spraggon Den... but Koalinth is a reasonable substitute.

From 24 to 27/28 groups at the Basar/Ligen pookhas always used to be the way to go, and the deamhan aeirs in Silvermine or ollipheists (AKA dinos) in Shannon estuary as less well known but better xp for all that.

28 and 20 are a notoriously grey area, but from 30 onwards you should be able to group in Coruscating Mines (and do the pit from 35 plus).

40 plus is good for the dreaded, deathly dull pookas of Lough Gur and the rather more frantic but drop-laden Sheeroe Hills - groups for both of these assemble in Innis Carthaig. 45+ is ideal for joining finliath killing groups in Cursed Forest (and you will be heartily sick of those guys by the time you ding 50).

There are plenty of other xp spots in Hibernia, but all of these routinely have groups. Your best bet is to turn up at the spots in question, look for groups and ask them if they have a vacancy - you're much more likely to get a group that way than by waiting for some group to invite you out of the blue. If by some chance these places aren't camped - start your own group there. Use /who to find players of appropriate levels and send them invites to join you. A bit of proactivity can work wonders.

Few guilds, if any, can guarantee fielding an xp group at/around a given person's level (GoS can't for most people, and we're one of the largest). XP groups are also one of your best chances to meet people outside your guild and get to know their strengths and weaknesses as players - and these are the people you'll be working with and have to rely on in RvR.
