I'm quite surprised this doesn't already have its own thread.

Superb film. Scorcese back to form (I'd lost faith after Gangs of New York, and Bringing out the Dead), and DeCaprio is absolutely superb. After a while his performance is so well studied that I completely forgot he was quite a famous actor.

The sets are amazing, the colouring process on some of the outdoor footage is stunning (like faded colour photographs in shop windows), and the CGI is used very well. The scenes where hes filming the dogfight are fantastic, health and safety my arse!

Its the first biopic I've seen in a long time that never gets boring. Amazing. Go see. Now.

Yep, it was very good -- when I came home from the cinema I trauled internet sites for biographical details on all the main characters in the film. Kate Beckinsale was, always, utterly gorgeous, and she had the best line in the film too. "I love what you've done with the place".

Well worth a watch.
