The Assassin Question - sb, inf or ns??

The glaring problem there is that any assassin could do that, was by no means restricted to SB only. Just that as a general rule NS/Inf typically went for faster weapons so had less chance to do it.

So don't make it out like it was something only SB had that made only them overpowered for using it :p

hehe i was hit for 1400 a few times by you :)
and you remained stealthed to oneshot the wizard in our group too :)

Indeed, I used to hit ppl for well over 1.5k back in ye olden days of high crits and everyone having pants resists. I was just pointing out that it wasn't an SB only ability which your first post suggested :)

Combine a skilled player with a Nightshade ** you've created a threat.

Combine a skilled player with an Infiltrator ** you, sir, have created a god.

Not many NS's can go up against mercfiltraitors. Maybe with AP 2/3 up you got a chance + rr6+ but otherwise...no

Keep in mind that str/con debuff affects WS and hits (half the amount of WS for those with str/dex weapons) while dex/qui affects 50% of WS, evade, swingspeed, block and parry. Dex/qui or dex debuff isn't the solution to that problem.
Str/dex based weapons and maybe another damagetype? Hand to hand spec, staff spec, new weaponline, change swords to str/dex for SBs or for all thats specced sword.
And change LA to check vs weaponspec instead of LA spec. Not only do you get reduced damage from dual wielding, you get funky variance.

infils

DF is good. Cant disagree about that but that doesnt make infils way to overpowered imo. Not as overpowered as ShadowZerkers was before this patch. A infil still have to depend on getting DF in to win the fight against SB's and with 25'ish DW you seldom get the second weapon in. Been in quite a few fights where the poison on second weapon was never used cause I didnt hit with it. Have to admit that most SB's are fairly easy to kill after last patch and Mythic should fix that. High rr NS are very hard to kill aswell imo. They got some kick ass RA's. Mids seem to solve the problem tho, by replacing the ShadowZerker with ShadowZergers.

Jix trouble is not everyone was shadowzerks but nerf was on us all, if mythic keep to that policy and nerf the overpowered mercfils it might hit all you guys not specced like that to :/ Wish I had been a shadowzerk could have at least known why I got nerfed then :)

roflor, such a huge prob tbh. But i c ure pain, cuz i dont find it esp hard to get DB off with evade 3 and unbuffed. So u with ure evade 7 and 50 enh bb gotta have a really hard time to get it off.

about the DW, ns got the same prob.

according to that formula that u just pulled outa ure ass u get lower dmg the higher spec u have :great:

actually the base at 1 LA spec for damage is 62.5% which raises by .5% each spec point

the actual formula used to detemine you damage penalty is

Unstyled Cap * (0.625 + 0.0034 * Left Axe Spec )

highest possible LA Damage percentage is 93.8% thats with 70 LA and DR5

could get Whirling Dervish for like 115% basedamage but a tad expensive for that ;p

Tipickle SB spec with 20 LA or 39 LA based on rr5 and +11 from items nets a base damage % of 74.4% or 81.2% respectivly
