downloaded the episode to see if it was really that good.
yes it's good, alot better then Martha Steward but still Trump version > Sir Allen
Never heard of him before, he kinda looked much like Trump but unable to laugh.

About the show, well it's like a complete copy of the american version. the back to the roots episode with fruit & vegis zzzzzzZzzzzzzz my god try to be a bit original.

The thing i found good about is was when i doubted the victory of the girls , something what i've never seen Trump do .
other then that i'd saw a view previews of what's coming.. firing 3 ppl at the same time.. seen that already Sir copycat.

Americans came up with the format first, the company took the idea to the BBC and we now have Sir Alan :).

You're fire. As you for you two I'm watching you, and you... I have your card. :D

The reason i'm asking you if you're American as (evidently, and typically) you are exhibiting the "we are better than everyone at everything" attitude cemented by your last post that "US > UK" - either that or you have a trolling, pro-USA axe to grind (for reasons beyond me).

American Idol > UK version
America's Next Top Model > UK version
The Apprentice > UK version

therefor US > UK

i'm no yank, i'm not a brit . I've seen both versions of all 3 of these reality shows. why wouldn't it be true?

Coca Cola, you're new here so I'll give you a bit of friendly advice.

Don't argue with G. The last person who did that was visited one night IRL and doesn't post any more.

Frankly, I find it hilarious that a programme with that name exists on either side of the pond. The only thing more hilarious is the idea of using it to promote a national rivalry. Grow up.

(I didn't watch The Apprentice, but I did once see an episode of the spoof version with the monkey.)

lol. the only thing i said was US is better at making series then UK. you're making an elephant out of a fly.

you're like those muslims making war over a cartoon. seeing things that aren't there. Aslong as you haven't seen both versions of those series, go fish kiddo.

nice statement. but how come Reality TV has like 10x more viewers then other programs?

For the same reason that pre-prepared boxed microwave shit food sells more than fresh produce - because its cheaper, lazier, involves less mental thought than the real thing and gives you a quick short hit, rather than actually benefitting your body just as an intellectual debate benefits your brain.

Its usually populated by a carefully selected group of people who the viewers will hate/love. Viewers develop a relationship with these people, and therefore become hooked on the programme. On the other hand, you could always watch a well-made documentary on, I don't know, lets say Egyptian kings, but then again most people aren't interested in anything more than the packet of a price of fags so why would they be interested in the cult of the Aton or similar?

Its lowest denominator TV designed to attract audiences for the advertiser's wares. Its generally a load of bollocks (programmes like The Apprentice and Gordon Ramsay are the exceptions), and the sooner Reality TV disappears back up the scabby ring from whence it came, the better IMO.
