The AA guns

I was shocked today, as i was playing a 32/32 game on a EA server, on Market Garden.

And for the first time, i mean ever, i killed a plane with a AA gun, not just one plane, but about 25 planes all togetha.

I know they ernt done anything to the power of the AA, well thats what EA have said, but them new effects help so much.

With two people assisting each other on AA guns, planes don't stand a chance, they may got one lucky round.

Anyways just to say, am finally happy, i can hold my own against planes now.

Nice explosions with the AA when you get a hit.

The russian gun looks a bit gay now though

I dunno about their affectiveness but the effect that you see now looks fab, like a proper AA explosion

Yup the game is finally ready to come out of beta and be released, I know it's been a long time in development, but I think we should commend EA and Dice for wanting to get their product absolutly sorted before the public have to fork out their hard earned for it. So rare in todays world of rushed releases of half finished products.

As for the AA, I dont think the power has been changed since 1.3, but the new effects are certainly nice.

Best bit is that AA guns don't blow themselves up by hitting the sandbags anymore. The visual effect when the sandbags get hit is a bit scary tho.

Yeah that was always a pain, u would trail a plane then suddenly u hit the sandbags as u are concertrating on the path of the plane and bam.
