The 2 man keep defense

Just to tell u the whole story...

Hibs got bored after outnumbering us 3:1 in emain all night, and some of em decided to pester good ol' alb frontier..
They were monitored from the beggining..they took a keep (cant remember which one)...than they went for Caer
Sursbrooke..

where...

suddenly...

they found themself in front of Insurrextion and myself...

We cloaked quickly and waited for the right oppunity to waste some casters and rezzers resting in the back, while most of the ugly firbolgs were bashing our precious doors..

One elf died....than an another...than a firbolg...than another elf...

My screen was actually full of Insu's LOL msges, cause it was so fun to watch like 20 damn pissed hibs looking for us (carelessly abandoning the siege of course)...

And than...TATATAM....guardpop...lol

The good old guardpop which (with the help of our mezzes) wasted the whole hib "army" in 1 mins...

2 minstrels defended a keep against 30+ hibs...

Way to go my ugly looking hib zergling friends! Keep the RPs flowing! )

So it was two minstrels and a load of double hard NPC vs a relatively low number of hibs (For a keep raid)

30+ hibs couldnt take a 2 man defended alb keep..

Hate to burst your bubble but it was the guards that did all the work for you.

I don't remember seeing you get anyone once the guards were hacking away

i was at this raid last night as well and i dont even remember you mezzing anyone, also there was alot of low lvls there, im lvl 31 and there was loads of greens/greys, and huge lvl difference didnt help

Simple we messed up there due mainly to tiredness and dwindling high levels.

Your mezzes helped the guards lol hell did you mezz our corpses then figure you guys must have came out of the bushes you were in after we were all guard whacked.

You certainly showed no activity apart from taking a couple of recent rezzes and no one was bothering chasing ya we were trying to fall back and regroup when the final guard pop came.

but if you wanna brag about missing heroism and zero rp you are tin cans so expected

U couldnt take the second after we arrived..

And these are facts...dont tell me guards spawned more after the first door was broken

Would always credit a small group of defenders from any side but not peeps who hide till the fightings done and try to take credit, you made no attempt to stop our raid and deserve no credit.

BTW we were not bored from Emain we had not been there this was a totally seperate raid by the Bearhawk alliance.

Hibbies must really suk if a keep raid was taken out by guards.

Relic guards I could understand but normal keep guards are easy, pretty certain an 8 man team with rams can do a keep without to much trouble.

I would test it out but keep taking is sooooooooooo boring unless there is defence that I can't be bothered to.

Guess it was a large guard-spawn combined with an excellent aoe-root that did the trick there last night at Crim - and of course all defenders rushing outside as the first 10 Albs had fallen at the gate to the spawn. Whoever did that root saved the day there ( and saved the outer door, which was at 2% at that time )

Just proves my point about defended keeps.

I'd rather fail to take a defended one than succeed in taking an undefended one, cause undefended one's really are too easy and very dull.

Undefended Keep raid = run up 2 keep, pull guards & kill them, set up rams, break doors then once ur in ignore the archers etc and just kill the Lord. It doesn't take too long and is boring.

Raven claw and dve tried to take a keep with 2 full groups. We had 2 rams, and we killed all guards easily and the few mids who tried to defend. But soon we found out that taking a keep is not that easy, cause that lord is a hell of a tough guy . We were whiped-out when he was at 3/5 health. We went back to deal with him but when we got there we saw that a lvl 50 bers/warrior came to defend together with some 40+ hunters...
They got us down, we poor lvl 30-45's :/

Why do I tell this: taking a keep at low lvls isn't really easy

I agree with the hardness of the lord...

BUT

We actually killed like 5-6 of your casters and rezzers..and distracted some forces from the siege.

Yes, at the end u died from the guard spawn, but only becuase some of your forces were already killed or distracted from killing the spawn.

And before u start flaming again please answer me one thing:
u could manage to kill all of the guards with your circus like hibby zergling group before we found u. U couldnt handle a single pop (which is NOT full guard spawn) after we arrived. U were wiped.
I dont think it would have happened if we werent there harrassing u, and killing your treehugger elf casters and firbolgs.
What did u think? Defending the keep is not only about charging the main sieging group..
But why am i saying this...u couldnt even manage to get to our relic doors yet...all of your sad attempts resulted in your total wipeout before u could even get to the relic door...rofl...

I learned one thing for sure...i ll make sreenshots next time..:/
