Dunno, I guess we will have to see but from the looks of it

the little sythe using Cloth tanks are a bit like gimped champs
and the pet class looks very limited, those pets are really gonna have to be awsome cuz this class dont seem to get anything else aside from their pet....

could be wrong though....

The Scythes better looks damn impressive! lol

The Animist does sound nice to me though, but will be pathetic if the turrets take xp the same as current pets since the Animist relies heavily on them.

The valewalker (one with the scythe?) ok he's a friar with DD but that DD magic will use up endurance too, reducing the number of styled attacks available to him. It'll have to be better than the NS's "magic" if you can even call it that.

As a regular reader of the vn forums the general consensus seems to be that valewalkers are 2nd rate champs with lack of anytime styles, whilst the animists are insanely powerful if guarding a spot with their 'garden' destroying all - becoming more deadly if a mana ment is near to keep the animist going. Although animists lose some effectiveness in the los patch when their pets can shoot through walls. Before that keep takes/defenses were pointless for the albs/mids as the turrets make the chanter pet seem like a minor gripe (imagine 10 turrets shooting you with no where to run :D )

Albion doesnt need more infs I think ;). But there was this one guy who described getting jumped by a inf - all turrets in area shot the poor guy to death soon as he pa'd the animist :D

might just be me but I always thought the turret idea was stupid, it's turning into Team fortress classic at this rate.

It just another class for the albs to complain is overpowered anyway..

Fairly certain the styles come with magical effects, don't think these take mana/end to use, just end, the lack of non reactionary/positional styles might be a fair trade off, some say they are rather tasty, others think they suck, stilll people say that about a lot of classes and look at the nerfage :D

The Animist is the most difficult class to play by far. So far, the general consensus of opinion is that they are not wanted in PvE groups because players have a very hard time controlling pets, and the pets also take some of the XP. I did try an animist, but gave up, and will not try playing one again. Kudos to those who do play one well.
