Thats it. I have had enough. Using Moriaana, a Druid, I wait ages for a group, then die in most of them, losing all the xp i gain in it plus a little more to annoy me. The only time I get many messages is if I am already in a group, or the group wants me because all their rezzers died. 5 mins later group disbands

It's even worse with my ranger. I tried for 4 hours to get a group today. "Sorry we are full" was the standard reply, even though most of them weren't. OK maybe some WERE full but I KNOW at least one wasn't, because I was stood about 5 feet from the 4 of them. You know who you are If you dont want to group with a ranger, say so, don't make up excuses

I was five minutes from deleting Moriaana before because I couldnt get a group. Thanks to all the ppl I have grouped with and actually gained xp, Athralmall and Tallen spring to mind. Thanks guys . Also thanks to Temperance, Cadwyr and Sal for giving me a tour of the Mid frontier. Shame I didn't do much except leech rp's

I don't really want to delete them, but I have to think about it. What's the point of playing a game you don't enjoy? Maybe a few days will give me enough of a break for the fun to come back..

I know that feeling - i concentrate on my alts then or get together a GUILD group - works fine.

I bought dungeon siege the other day, and it's a damn good game, only thing that keeps me loggin on to daoc atm is the people. If u leave that's one less reason for me to stay.

Why not start forming your own groups? Every time i try i fail through lack of healer, you'd have that post filled already. Also I am well up for more guildy grps as you well know as i have problems gettin a grp at all, let alone a bad one.

In conclusion please don't leave us mori, twould be a very sad day indeed when mighty mori retired her puddy and hung up her rootin finger.

Nooo u cant leave!!!! I really dont know how its possible that such a good druid dont get into good groups!? Well "normally" it shouldnt be a problem for a good looking female druid

Ohh and if you want to play an alt char who can solo well and easily get into groups....try a mana enchanter

over the period of your time in the game you will always get moments when u want to quit..... but counter to this you will have moments when you enjoy the game a lot....

MY tip. When things are going bad switch off and take a break from the game. Only play it when u want to play it.

Couldn't be bothered startin my own post for this (lazy) so i'll post it here.
I am becomin quite frustrated with daoc also, perhaps even more so than mori as i get grps even less often than she does. I can only see this gettin worse once i reach 40 as already i have been turned down on more than one occasion because i wasn't a mana eld. Pbaoe seems to be the way to lvl effectively in the 40's as far as i can see, and being a poor void eld i can't see me being welcomed into many grps.
Though not quite as drastic as mori, i am thinking of quitting daoc. Not deleting my chars but just stopping playing, i still have a couple of months left on my account so i would probably pop back from time to time. Or on another slightly less drastic than that note, i am thinking of quiting my guild. It is a small and mostly friendly guild which i enjoy being in. But, we never seem to get many guild grps going to help each other lvl, every one goes off on their own and gets themselves groups. Back when i was still getting groups, i always tried to save slots in any groups i was forming or joining for guild members to join if they wanted to. This never seems to happen with anyone else and i just get left frustrated, soloing, watching people ding again and again on gc talkin about what a great group they've managed to get in.

Anyway, i'm off on holiday to america for 2 weeks tommorow, so perhaps i'll feel differently about it when i come back, or perhaps enough of the lower lvls (who seem to help each other out a lot more than us higher lvls) will have caught up enough for me to either join their grps, or quickly p-level them the last couple of lvls they need before they can.
But incase it's all the same when i get back, if there are any eld friendly guilds out there who would be willing to take a seemingly unpopular void eld into their fray then please either post a reply here or mess me in game. Thx fer readin this rant, but i had to get it off me chest.

it's not very hard for a skaldie to find a group, but xping is boring, I give you that... playing alts on pryd/hibernia is mega-fun maybe u guys should try alting on albion or midgard ?
