Hey!

Just a quick GG guys to the hibbies who came to retake Dun na nGed from Phoenix Legion last night. To start with there seemed to be 15-20 of you, most conning orange or red to me at 43, but later some reinforcements arrived and they remembered to bring along a couple of rams Our force slowly dwindled and with Midgard blocking the milegate in Emain we couldn't get any reinforcements of our own and we finally cracked when a nightshade got in just after I had been rezzed, and managed to take me and our final rezzer at the same time because he was out of mana

We had a real blast - hope you guys did too - that was fun RvR at it's best in my opinion.

Yeah,it indeed was great fun

we were going to take a look at Nged and move to Emain but since we got some reinforcements we decided to attack,shame noone didint have ram with them

P.S. what level those keep doors were?

Hehe the doors weren't particularly high level, just well repaired buy our wonderful Alannah... I must say I did find it amusing to see your guys bashing away for so long for so little damage without a ram

Of course, story changed when rams entered the fray but hats off to those guys for trying

What is it with though with taking Hibbie keeps. For a start Benowyc was in the hands Mids, and on the other hand the Mids have all the relics. Guess you try to pick on us

Aaaahh Zanzara! Sorry, I am terrible at remembering names - in fact you are lucky I got your class right as I'm hopeless really

We were doing ok keeping nightshades out until there were just 2 infils and about 4 of you lot - gets a bit hard covering climb points when you have 2 each and are freshly-rezzed hoping not to get killed in one hit ... at one point I had no health of endurance but I jumped onto the climb point and saw 3 of you coming up...EEEEEKKKKK!!!!

Lianuchta - this was a guild only raid, so be grateful - we would usually wait and take all of the Unity of Albion Alliance and really bang down doors and ugly things in Midgard raids

well , hibs keeps are better to take for a few reasons.
1. most "rvr" is in emain .. so u hibs pass ur keeps all the time, and dont bring insane amount to attack 1 keep , well not on the first attack =)
2. if hibs dont attack we can attack DC and mids will attack or hibs
3. if we attack mid keeps, u get insane amount of mids, mainly thinking its a relic raid or something , but heh, cant blame them tho.
4.alb dont care for much of there own keeps if he have no relics , and none rvr in our front lines, as emian is near always the battle ground for high lvls.(or yggdra for grey con killin)

soo all in all hibs is the better land , the mobs in ur land dont agrro half as much =) and is easy to see , alb lands is a bast.

I hope 1.52 is going to make some drastic changes to our frontier. It is too easy to get through...

Hehe, we had lost 3 keeps at the time of the attempt on Nged.

Crauch had fallen to Mudguard earlier, Crim had been taken and you guys had Nged. The Middies also tried Bolg, but I think they were beaten by the guards.

When we came to Nged we had 14 or so people. 3 lvl 50's, some sub 40's, no rams, and at best 2 healers ( and 0 bards or mana replenishers ) between the two groups.

After 30 mins on the door, we had knocked it down to 85% at best.

Eventually after about an hour we managed to prize a few people away from the xp grind, who promptly had to go all the way back to Hib to fetch ram parts.

In doing so they took the last druid so we were left we poor old me sitting on my backside continually rezzing the casters and trying to block the uber bowman with bladeturn.

Those bowmen have ludicrous range btw, or so it seems.

Nice anyway to get some rvr going, cya again.

Great fight at nGed Sunday night PL

Was great to finally actually see some of the Albion E&E's in RvR (and kill a few too, sorry Catnip, guess you don't like my heat debuff/DD combo )

Had great fun playing tag with my pet and a few alb wizzies (Drac and Catnip), qc stunning the infs that popped up (especially Jup ) and had a laugh with some of the hibs who were there.

If you want, we could arrange a guild raid on one of your keeps, one Hib guild attack, while PL defends... or something similar. I wanna see how good those ice pbaoe's really are, didn't see them much at nGed, but only got hit for 70 by one of them...

Of course, you could try taking a hib keep...

Hehe Tuorin - methinks 85% is a fairly generous esitimate, but still it was a good effort - hope your tanks didn't bend their weapons on the door too much


Usp - you ARE one of the names I recognised out there and blast those damned silly spell things you have Those pets are naughty too, sneaking up into the tower to chew on our casters... really caused a right nuisance!

I must say, though, that the E&E team are very active in RvR, although we are not particularly interested in trying to get past a camped PK in Emain every night so don't expect us in randon fights much. Certainly Lunar and I have been involved in a great many keep raids and relic raids and defenses and I am often to be found lurking on climb points around and about

Certainly we enjoyed the night's RvR as a good challenge for attackers and defenders alike, and would expect to do it again before too long - don't worry, Phoenix Legion have PLENTY of BPs to sustain this for a while
