There is no nice thane template...only ones that suit your spec/playstyle

I am starting to RvR again tbh, with thane. As for the 'gs/matter' PA

... u know that alone cant take me down, especially with the new template i made me and i will be wearing if i ever find that SCer

(a bit more offensive and better magic resist, at the cost of some hp).
