Thane help

I'm thinking of betraying my realm on Excaliber to join Midgard. I was thinking of becomeing a thane but im not sure what race to go. I wanted to go dwarf but was wondering if this would hnder me in someway. Any advice anyone ?

I just found out that my friend is gonna be playing a Thane so now im gonna go as a Healer. Any links to good guides would be helpful.

aug isn't really worth putting any points in, exept for the first five to get the first runing speed buff.
