Here's an incomplete car list for GT4.

I've heard there's around 650 different cars, including one which is over 100 years old. Ugh.

Let's get the bad news out of the way initially; this will hopefully allow all the positive aspects of Gran Turismo 4 -- of which there are a great many -- to stand on their own. In a press conference earlier today, Kazunori Yamauchi, president of Polyphony Digital and father of Gran Turismo, announced that the fourth full game in the series will not feature online play as previously reported. Though most of the work on the game's network modes has already been completed, Yamauchi explained that the infrastructure needed to power those gameplay modes is simply not in place in European and Japanese territories. And because Polyphony and Sony are planning a near simultaneous worldwide launch Gran Turismo 4 prior to the end of the year, the online modes will simply have to wait. Fortunately, though, that wait may not be too long. There are plans to release the online portion of the game sometime in 2005. Details on exactly how this update will be made available have not yet been announced.

So shaddap Doomy. :>

We've also learned that street racers will make an appearance in GT4; users will even be able to upgrade such vehicles with NOS and superchargers.

Skyler won't be happy. :D
