TFC scripts = cheating or customising??

There is a wide range of scripts available for TFC allowing the player to do various things with the touch of a button. Some of these scripts are pretty harmless(rocket jumping, conc jumping) allowing you to do stuff most experienced players can do anyway. There are however some scripts that seem sumwat...dubious. I normally play as a spy so i haven't yet fully researched scripts for other classes, but things suchas speed adjustment, and fast disguise scripts seem to be IMO ways of giving a spy an uneeded edge if not cheating.
Having played as spy well....alot i know how usefull these scripts could be, but they are altering the game as it was meant to be played.
Cheating or merely using TFc's customisable features to get that extra edge??
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hum, scripts are for people incapable of carrying out the action to be completed themselves... i.e. buying ...
in CS I can buy 3 grenades a gun ammo and kevlar before the start.

But scripts can be used to automate that, so why not use them. Buying stuff isn't fun, its boring, so get the computer to do it for you.
Same with spy disguise scripts, you can either do it through the menus, or get a script to do it for you, and unless I'm mistaken the actual time to disguise will not be any shorter. If it is shorter than that's a cheat, as its unavailable to players without scripting.

Only direct modification to the counter strike code or operating system code , i.e. not config files, is cheating.

What about commands that allow you to see through walls for example? Thats a cheat and yet could/can be done with a config file.

Yeah I see what you mean, I don't know about all the exploits/cheats of CS, but that has to be a bad flaw, but still, being able to see thru walls has to be a problem really, I don't know how it works, but you wouldn't see the walls and would thus walk into them? I assume.
even if they were wireframe, you would keep walking into them, unless of course you can turn it on and off.... just to see into rooms... now that would be gay, since it wouldn't allow people to camp.... well actually that might be a good thing, then again, as I have been told, camping is part of the game.
The conclusion....
Cheats are also modifications to the game, in whatever form which allow the user to do things that were not intended by the creator of the game. Then again he may have intended it.
So they are also things that are performed that are not realistically possible due to the physics of nature.
Since the game was created to be as true to real life physics as possible(except for the sounds and guns etc)

Both, some are nothing more than easy short cuts, nothing wrong with CS buy scripts, or quick cfg spy/engi scripts. But if your talking about grenade/con scripts, jumping scripts, then if these are done by the player it's a skill, if not then it's a cheat. These con/jumping scripts are designed for 100% everytime you push it works, YOU win. If somebody is chasing you when have the flag ect.. there's Presure, You might not perform that jump, it's easy to do, but when somebody has you locked in a auto cannon, or there fire roxs hiting a you, YOU win as the script won't see that presure, it will just work! Thus i see it as a cheat. because Just like a bot, it works 100% of the time or as near as. Something that i Very much doubt a player can say, nobody gets every jump, every shot on the mark. Auto aimer's are cheats, why not auto jumps? it gives you the same advantage, it nearly allways works.
