Ok anyone here use/used/know of anyone using this ISP as broadband provider?

Im currently with BT, and looking at the impending download restrictions, monthly cost and lack of email/web space... Tesco's is looking interesting alternative.

Anyone got any input?

Mucho appreciated!

20 quid a month, half a mb line, no restrictions, traffic blocking, port blocking - lots of email addys, dynamic IP from here I use em and they have been flawless. If you want a FAT line theres these guys, 30 quid for a 2mb unrestricted line with a static IP is a fucking SWEET deal, id go with them if my crappy housemtes wouldnt mind paying a few quid extra per month.

interestingly enough, these companies are both hosting companies - seems hosting ppl take being an ISP more seriously than an ISP

That LChost isnt that good really once you have added your VAT, you can get 2Mb adsl from quite a few isp's for £35 :p

I'm moving house soon but I aint paying over £30 for broadband so i'll end up sticking with 1Mb I think :(

Thing with LChost is that you get static IP, free webspace and a 1 month minimum contract, a lot of companies offer the same of slightly cheaper bu have restrains on the accounts like 12 month minimum contract, dyn IP, no webspace etc..

If they had a newsgroup they might be good :p
Handy if you need a static IP yes, but with 256k upload I can't really host any decent website/ftp so :p

Hehe, think we win, our landlord decided to pay our broadband cos he wanted to get us to move in but couldn't put the price down, so we specified no limits and they put us on BT business broadband, seems pretty good but no idea how much it costs or if you need to be a business etc... Just imo, get a better landlord :p
