Also i watched a wierd film last night on CH 5 about the yanks being scared of everything and everyone. Thats why they have so many shootings every year. This just about sums them up.

It wasn't really sterotypical Yanks going to learn how to use guns and hoping to kill some Arabs. A bizzare program, but it honestly came across as people just wanting to learn how to defend themselves -obivously you'd have to feel under a lot of threat from terrorist attacks, and I do believe that Americans are more paranoid (and rightly so) to go and do this.

The Scary part is some of those drills/exercises according to the program are actually used to train American Spec Forces, Specifically Anti-Terroist Forces.

I thought it was quite funny when my mate met his gf's american friends for the first time, the first question he asked was 'Does your dad own a gun?' Unluckily for him her dad was a bit gun mad (had loads). So when he next went to the us and vistited her, her dad spent 30mins showing him his gun collection. He told me later he nearly wet himself he was that scared. \o/

when you live in a part of the country where 3/4 of americans believe are part of, and seem insistant on saying that they are 1/8th part removed irish on their great uncles side, youd have a growing hate for them..

America only executes those who commit first degree murder, as determined by a jury of their peers, and it is debatable as to whether a 16/17 year old is a "child", seeing as this country is prepared to give them the vote, compare that with 13/14 as executed by Pakistan or Congo.
Thirteen young murderers executed over 10 years, not so chilling when you put it that way. Why dont you check out the reasons why they executed the last "child", an innocent little chap who robbed his victims, then locked them in the boot of their car and set light to it, or perhaps the previous one, a sweet lovable "child" who shot dead a mother and her two daughters, aged 3 and 6, so he could steal some BMW wheels ?
Remember this is "recorded" and "official" executions, I'm sure a lot more children perish in other parts of the world at the hands of "executioners" than in America.
I am personally against a death penalty.
