template try for ranger

has anyone ever made a template for ranger without + bow,

im a melee ranger, and i will have 12 bow, i never use bow tbh, so why use + bow in template, i wanna make a template with, GoV, SoM, and Bladeshadow stats, No mainhand in it, slash and thrust capped, the rest all 20% +
, winged helm in it would be even better:p

and ofc, the melee dam and style damage as far as capped, + 25 str cap atleast, and alot of + hits,


looks like a challange to make that imo, anyone?:p

I'm running a template with +11 CD, +4blades, +3 stealth and it works fine to me.

i dont like the stats on the champ weapon, but the proc is cool.

Apparently the proc rate is very poor on the champ weapons

If more stealthers go back to using pysical weapons come DR thanks to the availability of CL magic resist buffs, that extra 5%(?) could come in handy for a ranger.

weilding malice, battler

ok heres what i got...

off handers is bladeshadow (hope stats are correct). no mainhand used.

wasnt that easy to get 101 str, but i hope 98 is ok. 368 hits should be fine i guess. thrust/slash/cold/body are capped. heat is 21. and matter is 18...i think thats acceptable.

dunno how much you need qui in temp to hit 250.. so i took from my ranger... and added 62 (tho mine needs 64). stealth/blades/cd +11
now you wanted toa bonuses... its really really hard to get those high whitout useing scalars, mainhand arti weapon.

this temp has 4 style dmg/4 melee dmg/7 melee speed.

and heres the setup...comments PLZZZZZZ

magic resist are 10 and melee 5. from the 3 buffs

He asked for WH in it too btw. Ditch the crafted and swap it with a spirit leggie or malice imo.

12 crush? your gonna get boned since rf is weak to crush, back to the drawing board.

he said WH is nice in it....

get classes omi.. no crafted weapon in the temp. it doesnt have a weapon in the right hand at all. he wanted a swap temp.

what classes do crush dmg???? TANKS... yes right.. now how meny ppl stealthers are gonna attack a tank on a regular baisis.

for the WH, he said it would be gvreat if it was in it... but whit no main hand weapon its kinda hard to fit WH in it.

make a better one !!!

Heretics, Friars, Scouts and Hunters blunt arrows (also shield is crush damage isnt it? so double whammy on tics and scouts) and certain pets all have crush damage, not just tanks.

lol, id like to see stealther solo a tic. tic whit a right specc is nearly unkillable 1vs1 by tank, stealther or what ever in melee.

and i do know what can do crush dmg and what cant... so no need to inform me :p

and how meny tics and friars do you encounter solo out there??.

sheild = crush (dont see meny spamming me whit a shield).

so yeah, only reason to put crush in is the blunt arrows.

nice try indeed i must say:), only, the zahur bracer is out of my reach, to expensive,
but i would like to see crush and energy a little higher( maybee fire capped aswel as alot of infil are to dumb to switch to cold, but stil win duo to overpowered damage:O), i dont want to have any weaknesses to ppl who use that kind of leggies, also, i wil be mainly using dex leggy weaps i think, so u could assume some stats are the same, lets say, il mainly use a spirit dex mainhand weapon, i can live with the melee dam and speed etc, its ok, i dont need a dex overcap as im blades,

also, im a shar, i dont cap quickness now in my old temp, but would like to get closer to it with my new one, but it was a good try, better then mine:p

anyone else wanna try or retry?

thing is its really hard to make a template whitout a main hand whit some really good stats and resists... its even harder if you cant use more expencive items. the template im going for atm is full melee ranger. took me more than 3 months to get it right(and its still not what i want :p)

so i didnt care for the dex. just what items had and thats it.

i know some ppl will say that matter, spirit leggy users and sun spear hunters are going to love me but then again YOU CANT HAVE IT ALL. its just not possible to make a temp whit uber resists and uber stats, you have to gimp something.

I'd love to see the items here :) if u SC any heat % swap some for energy Imo..especially if ur celt/shar...coz only pathetic n0bjocks wont swap to cold or other non-heat vs celt/shar stealther...and if they dont(being n0bjocks) you should pwn em anyway :)

Any good scout will slam you, see the damage and switch to bow for a crit or rapidfire 3-4 arrows in your hide.

Fortunately, there are almost no scouts who would spot that, but i think it's still a valid point :)

u was saying, Unfortunately, it wont matter if he spots the weakness or not, because u will get 3 ohter scoutadds anyway, thats why making a template is no use at all, because u get boned 23/7, (the other hour is boattrips mkayy)

Cap your heat, as far as I know ranger team leader said heat lw are neutral to reinforced, 0%, like spirit lw. Hope mythic will fix it to -10% soon :mad:

well one thing im sure and can say 100% is that cheap temps cant get evrything sadly :( even harder is to make a swap weapon temp whit cheap items.... belive me. i got about 200 ish different templates (tho 98% are deleted) under my belt, trying to get the perfect one. THERE ISNT ONE sadly. there will bi a weakness in evry template, that what makes this game fun and challengeing.
or did i read it wrong ?? :p

the second one is the one ill be wearing soonish.

BTW: i did a few trys on that temp whitout some hard items but i got worse. ill give a few trys and see what can i come up

hehe i know there will be some weaknesses when no mainhand involved, but i think its better to drop some toa bonusus then, instead of resists, as u said the regular hunter with sunspear etc wil rip you appart, but those are the guys i want to come up agains, and see their faces when they dont hit for 500 and get their ass kicked, resists are always important :) and with 3xx + hits u live long enough to do 1 more swing wich should make up for the toa bonusus imo :p

the longer u live the more damage u can do
