Ok, well i just made this template for my wizard, and any imput would be very much appriciated :)

I have a feeling i forgot something, but i simply just dont know what :eek7:

Also have a Mercenary Template i found on VN Boards, and if u got the time to look that through also, that would be nice :)

the caster template is very nice, merc template is good but can maybe do better and get more qui with different jewellery

sash can be essential in groups because of it's /use (group 25% pow/hp). more important, it has 5% passive piercing so you can cap it to 10%. yes yes, CS has a charge that could compensate, but cmon, 30 min reuse timer etc. sash and eriny/at is the only way to have 10% pierce all the time (without losing tartaros). NOT having sash won't gimp you, but having it makes you more uber instead.

and personally i'm not so demaning what it comes to resists, but with warlock damage and eld/chanter damage you could aim for higher. maybe replace some body resists with energy or so (if i remember right, not many hib/mid classes that do body damage, not sure tho). but overall it's quite solid template. hc ones still have sash.

i know it is VERY hard, maybe impossible, to get a template with all the caster toys (croc, cb, zo, sash, eriny/at) without gimping something. i've managed to do it with champ staff only.

its kinda good m8...Cause if wl catch u u prolly dead and as a caster dont believe that u will stay and let one enchanter pbaoe on u
Merc temp not bad also but kinda hard and expensive items to get
Agree with quikc think that mention before...Katorii pin from ml7 is a good alternative choice

sash > all tbh, its rly nice to have the power charge, and as eso said it give's u 10% passive pierce, its hard to fit zo + sash in a template togther but its doable...

made this as soon as champ staff stats were released.
has ALL candy caster toys (cb, zo, sash, eriny/at, croc) and all capped except energy (only sorc mez > never mezzed full dur). you can easily swap foppish sleeves for soot stained boots.

don't think that way about warlocks. having high matter resists can actually save your life when grouped. if you solo only, then warlock prolly instakills you. but when grouped, you have castable matter resists too, not forgetting ablatives, DI etc... always better to cap it.

and all spells (dd, aoe dd etc) from mana eld are energy, not only pb. tbh i'm surprised that mids/albs sometimes have so low energy resists, i guess that explains why i hit them for 1k+ damage.
