template help please from any high level scouts

im looking to make a scout for rvr and just wondering what template some of the high level scouts use. Please help

Longbow 50
Thrust 25
Sheild 42
whats the other one ? oh yeh stealth 30

That should be ok done the shield so when an ugly troll runs me down i can bash him silly and fire more sticks of wood at them

Anyway, it's great having your dex capped at 146 at lvl 39 (lol) and not being able to use the aditional +25adds or so you should have! ;D

True, unless I've plonked a good few in them and they're rather low, I tend to run like a big girl. Although, melee can be handy and I'm sure you'll need it at some point.

Expect to melee more and more after the patches to come...

Although 1.5 is a FAR into the future... We will eventually get it... and get stealth nerfed, BAD...

I'd definitly recommend getting shield to 42... I myself am getting 21 for thrust (2nd followup style for uhm, pierce?)... Rest in Longbow + stealth... (I'll probably go for 50 longbow, since stealth gets nerfed )

Yeah, a 'very' high stealth seems pointless now :[

thank you for all your replies, i have only been playing DAOC about a month and im wondering what this stealth nerf is as i love stealth it seems ideal for rvr

My first advice: Dont play scout, youll be very dissapointed along the way, very lonely and very disgruntled.

My second advice is:
Briton slashing scout
44 longbow
42 shield
20 stealth
3x slash

U may even consider going highlander.
The 44 longbow will gimp your cap damage by round 30-50 points... but frankly 1000 damage or 1050 damge......
Stealth will be nerfed severely, so u dun need more than 20 anyway.

Go ahead and say im crazy, but thats what the experienced scouts in US say is good and i tend to think they have a point.
