I was in battler ecounter with my necro and 2 clerics and when battler was 6% he kill my necro,When he killing first cleric the second rez the necro and necro go back for rebuffs.Battler kill both clerics and i log my pala to rez them,so till all ppl stay back to recover battler was pulled by an unguided person named Gommo with two clerics Anyu and Turbojugend who finaly kill the battler.Can anyone tell me if they have the rght to kill battler before our group totaly wiped?

If Battler had de-aggroed; ie had killed you or you had run out of range, it is free-meat for anyone who wants to attack it. If he was still killing your cleric when they attacked, then they were breaking the COC.

Pretty lame of them if they didn't even talk to you before taking it.

not true me an some other ppl did shades of mist encounter after some ppl died .. encounter was restartet (cloak on statue) after we killt it we got reportet an all got a 3 day ban because one of the bg was still alive so they still got the encounter... goa could not show me any place in the coc where that says but thats just the rules i was told

I read the COC as if the mob has deagrroed, reset, killed the ppl trying to kill it... THEN its free...

being in the BG don't give u agrro, so u aint a active part of the farming by just being in the BG w/o agrro... but GOA might be smarter then me...

doubt it just syaing what goa told me.. They still had a rezer in bg an at the spot alive or something thats why we got banned really not fair when encounter was restartet an the gm could not even give me a quate from coc where it said i did something wrong

had an incident similar to that, just at SoM, back then I was told encounter had to reset before it would be free for anyone else.
Since we had killed 1 of the criopzinxes(whatever the name)meaning I guess that mob had to respawn before it was reset and still had a BB alive at the scene(that was in bg) I think they got banned, but GoA never tells so hard to know. ( if that was Eeben, I dont remember, then his and my story are prolly the same. Maybe had he shown common curtesy it would never have happened. We did have a long talk in a CG after, but just got insulted when we asked to get a chance to roll, this guild was even our own /as. after that we reported and the guild left /as)

I gather if battler deagro, everyone is dead and he regained all his hitpoits it would be considered free.

HOWEVER 1 thing is the CoC another is common curtesy, something a lot of people have totally forgotten. A society dont function on strick rules alone.

Bottom line, no it was not fair, the guy was a bitch, but he had the right to be.

to be fair, 2 clerics and 1 necro had died (entire visible bg). he LOGGED IN a paladin to rezz, battler was at this point at 6%. battler went back to spawn point and regained to 100% hp then we pulled him. i hardly think anyone in their bg was alive since the paladin logged in at the spot where clerics had fop.
