When people type 'the' really fast, sometimes you spell it 'teh' by accident.

Maybe that's where it came from?

Do you really think it is wise to set a precedent of Locking/banning/deleting user ID's of people who behave like a prat here?

While I agree there is a limit to how much a person can get away with, IMO, he has not exceeded that yet.

One of the nice things about these forums, is the relatively high amount of freedom people here have.
I don't want to change that and start really coming down on people who are obviously misbehaving.
In many ways this place is self regulating and I feel the mods here generally don't interfere very much unless it's needed.

I would prefer it to stay that way.

This is a forum run by a private company who kindly gives you the opportunity to post here.

I've warned the other mods about you and you're being watched.

And furthermore, I wasn't specifically defending you, I was making clear MY views on how moderation should be.
This doesn't mean the other mods share the same views as I do and they may be less tolerant with you than I have and I don't have a problem with that.
