Greetings carbon based lifeforms! Where to start? There's so much to tell!
Less than a week to go to Shrouded Isles and the buzz is great!
We've asked Barrysworld to increase bandwidth ready for all the nerf-whines on the new classes once people start playing them.
Players from Dresden, Frankfurt and Berlin have complained about Anmist Bombers and we have assured them that they are only in-game but in deference we've asked Mythic to remove the red, white and blue concentric circles from them.
Corps Summoners
----------------
Upgrading a keep to lvl10 will now give the owner a Corps Summoner. At 30 second intervals it will summon various US Marines with heavy weaponary to defend your keep until the zone crashes. This is both balanced and within the l33t setting of the game.
Crops Summoners

Now this is just plain silly. We have no intention of giving the ability to summon wheat fields.
Corpse Summoners
-------------------------
Again, this is just another ridiculous rumour. In no way will something be added to the game that entirely tips the balance of RvR and destroys the need for relics.
Server Maintainance
--------------------------
Some people have asked for clarification on maintainance explanations. Here they are:
Short Server Maintainance - someone spilled coffee on the server keyboard.
Long Server Maintainance - Sales dept. have filled the server up with porn and we're having to go through the entire directory structure to remove it. And then we put it somewhere we can get at without getting caught.
Emergency Server Maintainance - the MD's secretary has been sitting on the RAID stack again and setting it into fast spin-up mode.
Database Restore - we need the network for Quake 3.
Extended Database Restore - we have a Quake 3 tournament and the net techs are hot favourites to win.
Router Upgrade - we want a bigger Quake 3 tournament and those bastards at Verant are going to lose this time.
Server Upgrade

This week's server improvement is an espresso machine for the techs in the server room.
