Tegs vs Ellylls

OK.. I've killed a fair few ellylls.

I've spent all last night killing Tegs to get back in favour with the ellylls but they still aggro me. Is it actually possible to kill enough Tegs to get neutral with Ellylls once you've killed a fair few Ellylls?

So they say, but no idea

have killed some tegs, but i have killed tons and tons of moor boogeys/ greater boogeys, and ellys r neutral to me atm ( cabby that is)

so peeps say lvl 50 infil/cabby/marc is damn hard to me, or even lvl 48 kill the seer, well imo, damn easy 1 when done right..just hope u got peeps awake in team =)

died 2 times while ago when pulling the Lord =) ,but hey still a game, i c deadt spams when 16 guys guys there die like a rat, well make peeps neutral to ellys , then all is okies, and yes there is those pees a lot

The ones who are dying are those who need to do the epic fin... and trust me 4 heroes and a normal pull can destroy 2 FGs easy...

You can also solo the Ellyll Lord if you have good faction with them (well, a cabby can, mercs and infs have a hard time soloing high-red/purp spawns :p ). Just kill a few hundred Tegs and pull him single, you'll get no adds (or get a puller out of group who has a good faction).

And to Fin: Boogeys faction have nothing to do with Ellylls, killing boogeys raises faction with Rooters, you need to Tylwth Tegs to raise Ellyll faction.

Once you have become aggro with a faction you can never go back to neutral or friendly, at least that is how it works in hibernia and with ellyls, wich i experienced with my old character.

sorry man but thats bullshit, of you get aggroed by the yarleys, you just have to kill a few hundred moor bogeys and then they are back to neutral

nonsense - I've been aggro to rooters before, but killing boogeys returned me to neutral...

they may be an exception ... sounds unlikely though...

It doesn't work like that in hib at all. You start aggro to curms and siabra and it's easy nough to get one of them neutral.

If its anything like the boogey <-> rooter situation, you'll have to kill about 4 or 5 tegs for every ellyl you've popped. If you spent any amount of time farming ellyls then you'd better get settled down for some serious teg-genocide.

All thats assuming that Tegs reduce ellyl faction...

Ta all... just FYI, killing all these tegs to get neutral faction has nothing to do with killing the Ellyll lord :uhoh:

I've got some scores to settle with some bastards that stay at ellyll camp and wait for unsuspecting albs to xp there.

Take a mezzer, mezz the heros, kill the lord, go and pick up your armour... no?

Wildfire - it's the three shadowblades hiding behind the ellyls you gotta watch for ;)

(or was it a runemaster last time? can't remember)

It can be worse

It can be worse too. Take Cluriclauns and Lucradans for example. Killing one improves faction with the other. You start off with both as neutral, but as soon as you start killing the faction balance topples and can never bein equilibrium again, you can make them hostile or neutral again, but they will never be both neutral again.

As a rule of thumb, I avoid killing them for anything else then kill tasks, I even started over a char because the feckers are everywhere :)

I'm also under the impression that Hib has a LOT more factions than Alb. Don't know about Mid, only 2 English servers :(

Yeah, but not if my cabby is pulling though =) have been doing it 3 times now, rather easy =)

just walk inside ruins, target Lord, nearsight, run forest run, and make sure u have BT spammed to u , and then u just run to group who needs to do epic, pull size is 3 nasty boys, just need to fins 1 cabby who can do it to me =)

Dannyn once you kill so many siabras that you are friendly with the curms, you can NEVER go back, i repeat NEVER go back to neutral with siabras. That is how it works believe it or not. Try it and you will see for yourself

Oh and one thing that counts also:

If yah kill yellow cons (or higher) the faction will shift a lot quicker then with blues and greens. (Greys don't work)

Try grouping with a lvl 50 killing greys when the mobs are purp to you, you will get a faction change very fast, dont think mythic have noticed that bug yet.

I second that. Killed hundreds of curms with my first hib (retail) char, to try get back to neutral with siabras, to no avail... apart from having two aggro factions instead of one :/

Edit: there seems to be a point, and if you take a faction across it, it's been screwed up beyond repair. However, also appears that this point differs from faction(/realm?) to faction(/realm?).
