Hmmm, looks like a Frog mutated down in Weston Super Mare. 3 heads and 6 legs, WIN! :D

BBC Story

All we need now is for some turtles to get mutated, and we're onto a winner ! ;)

Maybe the fertilised frog spawn got stuck together.

That's nearly as fooked up as the boy who has his twin growing inside of him.

What's worrying is that they call that an "early warning" of environmental changes. If three heads and six legs is an early warning, what the hell constitutes a late one?

mutation is possible to happen all the time, isnt it? Off course wether the mutation survives might be up to environmental changes, but I cant really see why a 3headed frog would survive better in a 3 degrees (celsius) warmer climate.

Btw Damini birds not hibernating in the south is a bigger change to the enviroment than this frog, as suddenly nature has to provide food for these birds, which it normally didnt have to. It might seem like an insignificant change, but it isnt.

Also plants popping up 1 month earlier than normal might be a big change as then the caterpillars arent around yet, so they might have more or less food when they are, which means that the birds who eat the caterpillars will have more or less caterpillars around as food. This will probably balance itself out over time, but it will result in a different balance than we are used to.

It should be Teenage Mutant Hero Frog - remember, ninja in a title is bad for the kids!
