Tears of the sun

Having read many mixed reviews on this film. I was wondering if anyone has actually seen this and what they thought.

As Underworld isn't going to be seen i need alternatives.

Tears of the Sun looks terrible. I've not seen it, but the reviews have varied between "Well-paced action film with a rather confused attempt at a moral message" to "teh suck!!!1!22!!1". Bruce is getting on a bit, and doesn't make the most convincing action star any more. I'd recommend Underworld over this. But I'm biased. Bruce doesn't float my boat.

I've had it on DVD for the last 2 months, wasnt anything great but worth watching if you like that sort of thing.

Thats half the prob will, some reviews are saying utter crap and others saying "a well meaning attempt, but let down by the badly done morale side of it"

Matchstick Men
Raising Victor Vargas
Confidence (prob not still on)
or for popcorn flick - Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

If Cypher is still showing, go see.

Alternatively try stabbing yourself repeatedly in the leg with a rusty fork - about as much enjoyment as watching Tears of the Sun and cheaper too.

Rusty forks are damn hard to come by though, Stainless steel takes an age to go off so it'd have to be like a garden fork or something.

Given a choice I think Tears of the Sun edges Underworld, neither setting standards for cinematic excellence.
