Teamkilling history

Is it possible to make a small mod that allows players on the server to view another player's teamkilling history (ie. how many ppl they've TKed and when)?

That way, when someone initiates a vote to kick/ban a player, at least you can check what that player has been up to.

As well as teamkilling there are probably lots of other types of lame behaviour that could be logged.

This info wouldn't need to persist after the game is over, only for the duration of a game.

Urm yeah kinda, to me the lamest of the lame is when somebody puts a dam mortar turret, on maps like mire, the 'swamp' map. You ever chase a nme player anywhere around you base, flag area and your dead:( I just don't understand why people put them in on maps like that, it's worse than having some tool spam his own team with the mortar, and as much, if not more of a pain in the ass to the defending team then attacker:( Sad to report this, but i was once killed 6 times in the space of a min, by a so called friendly turret on that map, thats why i make the point:(

Damned mortar turrets

Yeah, I've been blown up by "friendly" mortar turrets a lot, usually when trying to ELF the enemy flag carrier so that someone else can take him out before he buggers off.

I may be wrong, but I think some Tribes 2 maps actually come with mortar turrets around the base. That seems very stupid to me, especially when the mortar turrets have an even bigger blast radius than the carried ones...

All it takes it an enemy capper to run around a bit near your base and half of your deployed turrets and sensors are gone.

Which is why you change the barrels on the turrets from mortar to something more useful like AA (anti-aircraft). ANY enemy in the air is a valid target and the rate of fire is quite high as well.

Yes, which is why I do change the barrels.

But it's strange that Dynamix shipped maps in Tribes 2 with mortar turrets around the base - did their playtesters only bother playing with team damage disabled or something?

Yeah, i used to play RA, it was allways funny to chono a havester into the middle of somebodys base, when it was surrounded by crusiers;) But i just don't have the time to change the turret, im allways chasing folk, i allways hope that one of the heavys will change it, but that rarely happens:( the only thing that does happen is the guy doing the chasing gets hit:(. It's most anoying thing about pubs atm, or the most helpfull to the attackers, the same thing happens what happens in TFC on pubs, if you attack the nme base, then back off, just about the whole team will run after you, looking for the easy frag, i personally actually use this as a tactic, as i do in TFC, as 9-10 it actually works, even the best players will go after you, defending the actuall target goes out the window when frags are involved for alot of players;) No doubt most, if not all will won't admit it happens, or you yourself do it, but come on, iv'e been seeing it in tribes 2 since day one:)
