Do necromancers still encounter, "you can not use while in shad", when we are talking about using a charge.


Is the MCL charge usable by necromancers...; without releasing pet?

Cannot use charges in shade mode, and i cannot see this being fixed soon.

You can use Mcl when in shade mode while being hit if you stick pet on passive for 10 seconds and damageshield is not up.

Allow Necromancers to use all potions while in Shade form and make the Abomination Lvl 50 - it is the combat form of us, so should be equal level as the player. Also move Abomination from the mob to the player table for crits...

Like any of that will ever happen, I actually think DAOC will be long gone
before they even look at the old classes.

New expansions will be released and more classes will come, but I seriously
doubt they will ever fix the necro.

But while we are on the subject, why not simply move the player into direct
control of the abomination and make the shade just float around with you like
a pet that can cast spells etc.

That way the player will be the necro pet and the shade will be the new pet.

But thats just me, maybe it would be to easy for them, since I can imagine
it being easier to code a invulnerable pet that follows you and can cast spells
then it is to sort out the current mess with the pet/shade combo of today.

Imagine how nice it would be to control the abomination directly like your own
char and then have the shade stuck to your back.
No more pathfinding probs with the pet.

The stance on the old classes in America (where catacombs already is released) is:

We consider the old classes fixed and do not need changes

Or something to that effect ^^

u can use arti abilities while in shade form, but not charges
