Taking Screenshots. I can't!

I can only seem to take screen shots when i'm dead in Nisse's Lair. Any other time i hit the '-' key nothing happens...

Would anyone care to explain, or give me some hints on what might be wrong?

Once you hit the "-" key on the numeric keypad a .tiff file is placed into your DAoC game directory of the current screen. You then need to navigate to this directory and use a suitable graphics program to access the image.

i know that, but it doesnt create the file in the first place

Thats very odd... but you also say that this works when you are dead in Nisse?

Hmm that doesn't sound like a dodgy keybord.. but have you checked it by going into a doc and treying that key??

Another Dumb q, but we are talking about the "-" key on the top right of the numeric pad?

and, a stranger thing.. it worked last night when i was trying to take some piccies of njessi... it seems to be an on/off thing

and btw, it started working in emain last night, so i was taking pictures like i worked for the daily mail

From what you describe it almost sounds like re-installing the game and regrabbing all the patch files, that stoped working and restarted working is most strange m8

hmm... i have an idea

maybe its cos my keyboard is set to UK qwerty, not USA qwerty

just a suggestion... i'll change it in bios next time i have to reboot and find out

nope not that as my keyboard is uk qwerty set
and u must be playing uk version of the game
