T68 Software Upgrade

I've been trying to find out from SonyEricsson where in Manchester I can get my T68 upgraded to T68i. However, they seem to recon that there is only one place on their database - in Sale (some 5.5 miles away from where I live, and I have no car). So I'm wondering if anyone knows if any of the chains offer it everywhere, or anywhere specifically in Manc that does it.

I've at least been able to establish that my warrenty will cover it "if it goes tits up" so that's ok.

Has anyone else had it done? What kind of "proof of warrenty" do you need to take to the Service Centre?

I'd prefer to walk into town that go out of my way where I don't know where I'm going

(e.g. I'm a student, I know my way to uni, I know way back from uni and I know where to get a drink within two minutes of my room ... ok, I'm not that bad)

Sale's not exactly difficult to get round, get the metrolink and u'll basically be virtually in the middle of the town.

Sale is a nice place, well worth a visit. Hop on the metrolink, its only 6-7 stops from Manchester.
