System Restore with Win ME

For some reason my system restore doesn't seem to work... it gets about 40% done, reboots & says that it hasn't done anything... anyone got any ideas why (other than it's a shit OS) or what I can do about it ??

A typewriter is better than ME.

I use 2k rather than XP, I upgraded to it from 98, and I'd never go back. From what I've heard, XP Pro is much of a muchness with 2k, some people prefer one, some the other.

I've got 2K on my pc at work... never had any problems with it... what's XP like with Internet Connection Sharing (with another pc that has ME) ?

Nah, ME is an...doctors aren't really sure, I think syndrome is the best you are going to get.

ICS on 2000 is fine. Does the job after a bit of fiddling. ICS on XP rocks hard. It makes a little disk and lets you run a wizard on your client machines. Top banana.

I would strongly recommend XP, and I'd certainly suggest you try it on your home PC first, seeing as you already know what 2000 is like.

Got XP now - all seems fine... ICS was no problem to sort
