Switching point releases

Does anyone know of a decent program and where to download it that will switch point releases??. I am currently running 1.31 but a friend of mine has his own server running the original version.

There have been programs in the past that have done this. You could try a search at google.com or I seem to recall a link somewhere from clanbase.com to a program (but i cant check cos of this firewall at work).
You can always just install q3 again into another directory, like 'quakeiiiarena2' and connect through that to your mates server.

I use Seismovision, which is a top notch demo player first and foremost, but it also allows you to switch between PR versions for online play (can switch between 1.17, 1.27, 1.30 and 1.31)
