Svartalf/Malmo Problem

OK, once you hit the low 40s the XP in Spind and Varul tails off and it's time to hunt in one of the 40-50 zones.

Raum is always empty, Vanern isn't much better; most of the regular XPing is done in Malmo.

Which is a bit of a pain for my main. I've got this problem - the svartalfs in malmo hate the sight of him, and will do their best to kill him and any party he's with who try to pass through their territory on the way to the usual XP areas.

The other svartalfs in Midgard are fine with me - it's just the malmo lot who loathe me.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and how can I fix it?

Don't tell me to kill more werewolves in Varul - I spent the whole of last level there, killing ww - it hasn't fixed my faction, and now the werewolves hate me so badly I get chased out of varul as soon as I set foot in there.

I've also spent many days in Spindy, killing arachites - they still love me, cos of all the ww I've killed in the last fortnight. I've also spent a few miserable hours killing Isalfs in Yggdra. But the svarts in malmo still hate me. I have no idea why - never spent much time Xing on svartalf targets anywhere.

Just whack away at the first drakulvs you see when you come into malmo, that'll give you svartalf faction.

Outcasts might be faster faction though, but if you "work" your way deeper and deeper into malmo you should be quite familiar with how the baf works in malmo and be better prepared for the lair.

Well you goto love Malmö and now after patch with new patrol routs for the ww's its even more difficult to get in..

yeah, even the svartalf route is hard... I make in 1/3 times solo.... if I have a healer with me, or a skald, it's easier, but the ww's camp the zonewall ffs

The svarts rout was easier before patch, now with i counted 6 ww's patroling a tree, just as you see lair, you have to time exact to get thru, tried to get a guild mate in, but alas i pulled aggro, and my mate where nice to try help instead of heading my advice to run while i took aggro. And thoose nice healers that tried to rezz, could not get thru due to the ww's camping zonewalls..

Wonder why is so hard to get in and ding 50. Do albs/hibs have the same problem getting to 40+ xp spots

No, we use Lyonesse, it's really easy to get in (as it's not the EZ), hence it's popularity. Dartmoor (EZ) XP is better but you have you cut your way in past the granite giants so no one bothers.
