Anyone seen this tv show yet?

I've only found a poorly edited torrent of the file which screws up the beginning aspect ratio (no biggy) but also seems to clip off the end (pain in the arse) but from what I saw it seems pretty good so far. Not sure if it's too everyone's taste but I hope it lasts a full series.

Havent seen Surface, but I did see a pilot named 'Fathom' a few months ago. Should be exactly the same as the first episode - just renamed.

Caption: Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Belize

Old guy & young guy on a boat. Its clearly late at night. Dunno what lanaugage they are speaking, but its not English and so subtitled.

Young Guy: "Grandfather! A shooting star!"
Old guy: "You know what that means, yes?"

We see that its not 1 shooting star, as more and more of them fall from the sky landing in the sea. They both stand up in the boat.

Old guy: "The fishing will be good tomorrow"

Cue the spooky music, spooky looking lights where the 'shooting stars' are landing. End of episode.
