Super-Tough Turrets

If you have seen the 'evilturrets' demo, you are probably quite concerned about this ruining pub games.
Seeing as you can't even get TK's kicked on most servers, what I was wondering is if Poker can make a temporary fix to stop this like for the health kit bug?
(Its noteworthy that the health kit fix Poker did was more extreme than dynamixs' one)

Shelob, the Tribes Dev team are already aware of it and fixed it. They just couldn't get it in the 1.10 patch in time.

Expect the 1.11 patch in the very near future!

People using it on pubs should be banned.

at the other hand, we need LO's in the future with blasters

If it is used in clanmatches however, you can do 2 things
1. Dropp
2. Use 'evilturrets' also.

But i think the *known* clans will not use it. Ruins the game anyway.

For info: The health kit fix was the only tenable solution available in serverside scripts afaik, the dev team corrected the problem in the .exe

As before, BWAdmin will address issues as the community sees fit, but I'd prefer gameplay adjustments to be done by the dev team. (still waiting for the ELF spam fix?)

Id just like to say i agree!! these evil little turrets ruin the game.
Last night i was playing stonehenge and found two in my own base i shot the red sensor dot out and got stick from some on my own side for it...
I stoped Quaking because of cheating! and would hate to see tribes go the same way it's the first game i've played with mature people and has an amazing atmosphere that keeps me comeing back for more ....

I was playing on public server the other night and some CLANNED players were using them on raindance in a siege situation (VERY LAME). I hope it stops soon, mind you it was one of the worser tribes

BTW. You can also make invincible inv stations too (really makes the game unplayable then)
