Super fast internet connections!

I've got an urge to get some insanely fast internet connection, how much are they usually and what sort of download speeds can I expect? Links and advice much appreciated!

Our artist Tsuki has completed his move to Japan, and is currently enjoying the 'l33t j0y' of a 24Mbit connection to the web...

pity no other bastard seems to want to let him use more than ~5Mbit of bandwidth, he has to have about 15-20 downloads open to max out his connection
