Inspired by the fatty mc.fat thread,
I started thinking, what do people out there "in da big world"
enjoy as summer desserts ?

so, whats your guilty summer pleasure ?
and we'r not talking what can you find that looks awsome on google pics,
but rather, what do you enjoy making your self ?

I'll start (pm for recipe)

other than that, home made iscream, rhubarb pie and fruit salads

and if you make it look much different from that, you've likely done something wrong,
thats the beauty of the dish, it's very easy and looks awsome.

that's how it's supposed to be eaten, but I find it a bit boring without makroner.. unless it's homemade

cant say I've tried it though, and ofcause, here it's often home made

Those are delish, but i find the nougat makes it a "tummyyummy killer", to much sweets.

Best one i made was a hawaii inspired one.

Digestive bottom with coconut butter, coconut flakes into the cheesey center and then a pineapple(chunky) sauce on top.

Cant eat pineapple, allergic. And i dont like the tast either.

It works with other fruit toppings too, something like banana slices on a thin caramel layer top(or without) would be perf too.

I don't tend to bake in the summer, I tend to stick to fresh fruit (I love watermleon)...its in the winter I crave comfort food....I have an unimaginably gigantic weakness for chocolate profiteroles. My wife makes fantastic ones.

err wasn't me that made it but seem to recall it is done with cheesecake bottom then make the topping by boiling a tim of condensed milk to make the gooey caramel type thing and add juice of a few limes... I was the eater he was the maker lol

Mmm watermelon filled up with different kind of booze...
