That depends. If the lift is plummeting at the same speed as your average person jumps, then you'll be fine

depends if its falling fast enough u may not be able to jump cos u r plastered to the ceiling
in which case u r fooked
an if the lift breaks apart as it hits the bottom it kinda wont matter if u jump while getting crushed between the floor an ceiling
or if u jump n the lift keeps on going down u might get brained when u hit ur head on the ceiling

You could survive if you can jump in excess of 120mph (but only for a foot or so or your head will hit the roof). You'd need to be a Brundle-Fly type creature, but a human crossed with a flea (or something). (Brundle-Flea?)

...unless, when you step-off you land onto a huge inflatable cushion used by stunt men...or, you have a parachute handy (and time for it to open of course).

The speed of light is relative. Nothing can be travelling from *anything else* more than the speed of light but it's perfectly possible for something travelling at the speed of light to see something moving away from it in the same direction at the speed of light. Space-time may have to bend a bit bit that's life init.
